Key strengths
All-new wide shape: the 5.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover screen (1972 x 1248) uses a 10:16 ratio suited to scrolling, and the 7.6-inch main screen opens to a 4:3 format suited to films and TV.
Samsung's lightest Fold yet at 201 g, measuring 9.7 mm folded and 4.5 mm open.
A 4800 mAh battery (up to 26 hours of claimed video playback) with charging listed up to 45 W, plus IP48 water resistance.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, screens rated up to 3000 nits, and security updates listed until 31 July 2033.
Before you buy
There is no telephoto lens: the two 50 MP rear cameras are wide and ultra-wide, with 2x optical-quality zoom and digital zoom up to 10x.
S Pen stylus input is not supported, and only one physical nano-SIM fits (the second line must be an eSIM).
IP48 covers spills and short freshwater submersion, not dust-tight protection, and Samsung says water resistance can diminish with wear.
