Dark grey (8030CP) · single active monitor · 100–240 V AC internal supply
The 8030C is a two-way active monitor with a 130 mm woofer and 19 mm metal-dome tweeter, each driven by its own 50 W Class D amplifier, in a die-cast aluminium reflex cabinet. It is sold as a single unit with a balanced XLR input and an internal 100–240 V supply.
Rear-panel room compensation switches let the monitor be optimised for the room, and Genelec's Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) is among its listed technologies.
Listed among the 8030C's key technologies; Genelec states uncoloured reference performance on and off axis but gives no dispersion angle for the 8030C.
Separate Class D amplifiers for woofer and tweeter in each monitor. The web specification does not state RMS/peak basis, load or distortion; long-term output is limited by driver protection.
Rear-panel room compensation switches for optimising the monitor to the room's acoustics
Genelec's 8030C page does not list the individual switch settings for this model, so they are unknown here; the ISS disable switch sits beside the room response controls.
