Before you buy
Each cabinet measures 159 mm wide and 264 mm tall, and the active speaker is 280 mm deep; Edifier's own model comparison lists the MR3 at 125.5 × 220 × 176 mm and the MR4 at 140 × 228 × 184 mm, so the MR5 takes more desk space than either.
No USB or optical input, and no XLR/TRS cables are supplied.
