A 27-inch 2560 × 1440 Rapid IPS monitor with up to 240 Hz over DisplayPort or USB-C, an adjustable stand and up to 65 W USB-C charging. HDMI reaches 144 Hz at native resolution.

Specifications checked 11 Sept 2026Manufacturer specifications, not a hands-on test.
The supplied stand supports 130 mm height travel, swivel and portrait pivot. USB-C combines display input with up to 65 W charging for a compatible device.
MSI lists PiP/PbP and DisplayHDR 400, the panel covers 136% sRGB (CIE 1976), and USB-C carries the full 240 Hz at native resolution.
HDMI is limited to 144 Hz at 2560 × 1440. USB-C provides video and charging, but there is no USB data hub. PIP/PBP disables Adaptive-Sync, MPRT and HDMI CEC and is unavailable with HDR.
The panel is 8-bit + FRC rather than native 10-bit, and power comes from an external adapter.
HDMI and DisplayPort cables are listed as optional, so check the seller's box, including whether a USB-C cable is supplied.
MSI's datasheet lists 400 nits typical brightness but its V1.1 manual says 300 nits; both list a 400-nit HDR peak.

Manufacturer panel diagonal; rounded size printed on marketing imagery may differ.
SourceUp to 240 Hz at native 2560 × 1440 over DisplayPort or USB-C DP Alt Mode with a compatible device and cable; HDMI is limited to 144 Hz.
1 ms GtG as listed by MSI; the manual also lists a separate 1 ms MPRT figure.
Enabling Adaptive-Sync disables MPRT and PIP/PBP and sets 1:1 screen size to Auto.
Depends on input, source device and mode. HDMI at native resolution is capped at 144 Hz.
SourceFrom the V1.1 manual preset table; needs a compatible source, cable and mode. PBP uses 1280 × 1440 at 60 Hz per input.
At 2560 × 1440 with a compatible source and cable.
SourceAt native 2560 × 1440 via USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode with a compatible source and cable.
MSI does not list HDMI VRR for this model.
SourceAvailable only above 85 Hz. MPRT locks brightness and response-time adjustment, disables Adaptive-Sync, HDCR and PIP/PBP, and resets 1:1 to Auto. HDR disables MPRT, and flicker-free operation does not apply with MPRT on.
SourceAvailable only above 85 Hz; cannot be combined with Adaptive-Sync, HDR or PIP/PBP.
SourceThe V1.1 manual explicitly switches Adaptive-Sync off when MPRT is enabled and switches MPRT off when Adaptive-Sync is enabled.
SourceNVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible as listed by MSI; no dedicated G-SYNC module.
SourceManufacturer GtG figure; separate from the MPRT figure and not input lag.
MSI's July 2025 datasheet lists 400 nits typical; the G274QPX V1.1 manual (December 2023, page 18) lists 300 nits typical SDR. Both list 400 nits HDR peak. · SDR typical brightness, not HDR peak.
Static contrast.
SourceWhere FRC is listed, the panel uses frame-rate control to reach the stated depth.
SourceMSI lists DisplayHDR 400; HDR disables PIP/PBP and MPRT.
Manufacturer HDR peak; test window and duration not stated.
Dynamic contrast, not static contrast.
SourceManufacturer CIE 1976 gamut figures; percentages above 100% are relative volume.
SourceHDR greys out Night Vision, MPRT, Low Blue Light, HDCR, brightness, contrast, colour-temperature and PIP/PBP controls.
Selecting sRGB locks colour-temperature and Low Blue Light adjustment.
Source1.07 billion colours via 8-bit + FRC, not a native 10-bit panel.
Video input and power delivery; compatible device and cable required.
SourceDisplayPort: up to 240 Hz; HDMI: up to 144 Hz, at native 2560 × 1440. The source, cable and selected mode must support the signal.
SourceMaximum 65 W at 20 V / 3.25 A for a compatible device and cable; this is charging output, not monitor consumption.
The datasheet lists USB data ports as N/A; the separate USB-C input provides video and charging.
SourcePIP/PBP disables Adaptive-Sync, MPRT and HDMI CEC and locks response-time adjustment. HDR greys out PIP/PBP. The manual lists 1280 × 1440 at 60 Hz per input in PBP; input selection and aspect restrictions apply.
MSI's datasheet does not list a KVM switch.
SourceActual negotiated output depends on the connected device and cable.
SourceCompatible CEC device required. Can coordinate power states and reset Game/Pro modes when a supported console is connected. PIP/PBP switches CEC off.
SourceTwo-source view with OSD aspect/input restrictions; Adaptive-Sync, MPRT and HDMI CEC are disabled.
SourceThe panel stays 2560 × 1440; these are accepted HDMI input timings, with no 4K 120 Hz.
Source75 × 75 mm mounting pattern. Manual specifies M4 × 10 mm screws, 4 mm thread diameter and 0.7 mm thread pitch; follow the model and mount instructions.
Adjustment travel, separate from assembled monitor height.
SourceDeclared swivel range: −45° to +45°.
SourceFollow the manual for clearance and safe rotation; declared pivot range is −90° to +90°.

SourceManufacturer design term; the visible monitor bezel remains present.
SourceNet assembled monitor; the supplied stand is included and packaging is excluded.
SourceManufacturer bare-monitor mass, with stand removed.
SourceManufacturer gross figure; not the monitor’s assembled or bare weight.
SourceAdapter ratings, not the monitor's power use.
MSI lists adapter ratings but no typical operating wattage; the 65 W USB-C output is charging power for a connected device.
Physical OSD joystick with configurable direction shortcuts.
OSD dark-scene adjustment with Off, Normal, Strong, Strongest and A.I. modes; unavailable with HDR.
User-selected on-screen icons.
SourceSoftware mode that warms colour temperature. Anti-Blue mode forces it on, sRGB locks it and HDR greys it out.
SourceDoes not apply with MPRT on. MSI states TÜV certification.
SourceSelecting 1:1 disables MPRT, Adaptive-Sync and PIP/PBP.
SourcePackage contents vary by country; check the seller's box, including whether a USB-C cable is supplied.
