Samsung describes an open-type angled design. This is the non-Pro SM-R530 model; Pro silicone-tip and dual-amplifier descriptions are not transferred.

Laboratory fresh-water immersion test: up to 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. Not advised for beach or pool use. Damaged earbuds are not guaranteed water resistant; dry earbuds and hands before placing earbuds in the case.

Audio is transmitted over Bluetooth. The USB-C connector and wireless charging belong to the charging case, not a wired audio connection.

The state-specific specification table supplies these figures. Samsung tested pre-production Galaxy Buds3 paired with a recently released Galaxy smartphone at default settings. Actual life varies with settings, usage, charge cycles and Bluetooth signal. The general footer advertises up to 30 hours across ANC on/off; it is not treated as a separate 30-hour ANC-on claim.

Up to 24-bit/96 kHz UHQ audio is stated for Galaxy S24/S23 series, Z Fold6/Flip6/Fold5/Flip5 and Tab S9 series with One UI 6.1.1 or later. Support for unlisted devices is not established by that list.

Samsung lists Active Noise Cancellation and Adaptive ANC. ANC is off by default. Its selected-model specification explicitly lists Ambient Sound as No; this does not imply passive isolation from surrounding sound.

Samsung lists six microphones in total and a Voice Pickup Unit sensor. Super Wide Band calling is listed; available options depend on the connected device. No measured speech-quality result is inferred.

The selected Galaxy Buds3 specification table explicitly says Ambient Sound: No. This is a feature-mode statement, not a claim of physical isolation.

The manual describes one pinch to play/pause or answer/end a call, pinch-and-hold to decline calls, and up/down swipes for volume. Settings are managed in Galaxy Wearable.

Interpreter runs on the connected phone, not independently in the earbuds. Samsung Account login and language downloads may be required; availability varies by language, region, carrier and device. Accuracy is not guaranteed.

Bixby requires a compatible connected device; language, region and feature availability vary.
