How popular comparisons work
Activity shows what visitors are exploring. It is separate from product specifications and personal match scores.
More decision tools
Most compared lists use recorded comparison activity from the past seven days. A pair needs at least five recorded comparisons to appear. Until then, the homepage shows labelled featured starting points.
We count product and comparison views, Finder product clicks, shortlist additions, saves and retailer clicks. We store daily totals rather than a browsing history. We do not store search text, raw IP addresses or user-agent strings in this activity store, and we do not set an analytics cookie.
To limit repeat counts, a private daily hash combines the network address and the action. It expires with the seven-day totals and cannot connect activity across days. Shared connections and blocked analytics mean these are approximate activity counts, not counts of unique people or sales.
Known automated browsers, performance checks and requests with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are excluded. Only currently admitted products appear in public discovery. We do not invent counts, reviews or votes, and affiliate commission does not determine these lists.
