What it brings
At 4.6 g per earbud they are lighter than Galaxy Buds4 Pro (5.1 g) and keep Bluetooth 6.1, LE Audio and SSC-UHQ codec support; their Adaptive ANC is Samsung's version 1.0 (pre-trained algorithms), while the Pro has Adaptive ANC 2.0 with real-time processing.
No ear tips are supplied: Samsung describes an open-type design that does not seal the ear. Samsung lists a 1-way driver with a single amplifier and an IP54 rating, against the Pro's 2-way speaker and IP57.
Samsung lists a 2-way woofer-and-tweeter speaker with dual amplifiers plus Voice Detect and Siren Detect; the Galaxy Buds4 has a 1-way driver with a single amplifier and Samsung says those two detection features are Buds4 Pro features.
The Galaxy Wearable app is not supported on iOS, so iPhone owners get Bluetooth audio without Samsung's controls; elsewhere the app needs Android 12.0 or later, while Galaxy devices on One UI 8.0 or later use the phone's own settings.
